PRIMARY OBJECTIVE The Navigators Program provides a variety of outreach and navigation services to various vulnerable populations who are potentially eligible for enrolling or re-enrolling in Medi-Cal (California’s state-run and funded Medicaid program), which provides health coverage to families with very low income, as well as expectant mothers, persons with a range of disabilities, and immigrants and families with mixed immigration status, et al. Conducts weekly outreach and education at local schools, special events, and heavy use corridors, i.e., Mission Street, Valencia, Geneva Ave, and other neighborhoods where the Latinx community gathers.
