Must allocate 3 hours of afterschool preparation time for lesson plans, development of IEPs, curriculum maps, classroom materials, classroom organization, update student data books, and meetings with parents, specialists, district representatives and directors. Creates educational experiences that provide each student with the opportunity to develop his/her potential in areas of self-help, self-advocacy, independent living, positive self-image, decision-making, social skills, and other life skills.
