Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local compliance regulations; Extensive knowledge of best practices in special education and the development of young children; Extensive knowledge of young children with disabilities; Extensive knowledge of the Electronic Access to Student Information (EASI) system; Considerable knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point; Google Apps; Critical thinking and problem-solving skills; Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form using a variety of communication techniques and tools to ensure the appropriate flow of information, collaborative efforts, and feedback; Ability to work independently and complete tasks in the absence of clear direction; Ability to organize information pulled from multiple sources; Ability to perform data collection and analyze student data; Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with system staff, staff of childcare centers, students, parents, external agencies, and the community. Provides direct instructional services to special education preschool children according to their Individualized Education Plans (IEP)in the least restrictive environment, typically the home, childcare setting or community preschool.
