p>Essential Functions: • Providing skilled evaluation and treatment of patient's needs performed through an intensive evaluation process, including, but not limited to: a review of past medical history, oral peripheral examination, speech production evaluation, receptive and expressive language evaluation, cognitive evaluation, assessment of augmentative means of communication, bedside swallowing examination, and diagnostic testing such as swallowing evaluation under fluoroscopy.
Job Summary:
The Speech-Language Pathologist utilizes select knowledge and skills to evaluate, plan and provide care and services for patients with developmental or acquired impairments of verbal and written language, voice articulation, fluency, auditory and visual processing, cognition, memory and alternative/augmentative communication, and swallowing.
