POSITION SUMMARY: The Per diem Speech Language Pathologist performs diagnostic evaluations and therapeutic treatments utilized in the short and long term rehabilitation of inpatients with speech, language, swallowing and hearing impairments when referred by staff physicians, house officers, physician assistants, nurse practitioners. Demonstrates ability to develop, modify, and advance treatment programs that maximize the highest functional performance of each patient, in a creative, skillful and efficient manner, and in collaboration with other team members.
