Responsible for management, coordination and supervision of one large project or multiple small projects located at multiple sites; assign work to employees, based on material and worker requirements of specific jobs; provide input to project management at the earliest stages of the project to improve schedule, design, systems, procedures and cost and to ensure proper contractor selection; schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines. Examine and inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to verify safety and to ensure that specifications are met; interface with and is accountable to project management and plant management to assure that the project targets and goals pertaining to safety, scope, schedule, quality, cost control, and project plan execution are met or exceeded; study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods.
