SUMMARY: Reports to the Manager of Utility Operations & Design, and is responsible for supervising Power Plant Operating Engineers, Boiler Operators, Incinerator Operators and mechanics in the operation, repair, and scheduled maintenance of high pressure steam boilers, turbo-generators, medical waste incinerators and ancillary equipment to produce electricity for the Hospital and steam for the laundry, kitchen, heating and air conditioning systems, and sterilizes. The core Success Factors include: Instill Trust and Value Differences Patient and Community Focus and Collaborate RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises Power Plant Operating Engineers, Boiler Operators, Incinerator Operators and mechanics, including interviewing, hiring, scheduling, assigning work to, counseling, training, and when necessary, administering discipline to and terminating subordinates.
