We welcome applications from prospective temporary faculty with expertise or experience in the following areas: the interconnectedness of Earth’s four reservoirs (solid earth, atmosphere, ocean, biosphere); the causes and potential societal consequences of natural Earth processes (e.g., earthquakes, floods, landslides, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, weather and global climate change) and the production, availability and depletion of natural resources (e.g., water, minerals, and energy); engineering geology; introductory environmental sciences; processes of inquiry and rational thinking skills characteristic of the earth and environmental sciences; and Earth’s dynamic landscape from regional to global scales. Pursuant to Education Code 89521, the California State University requires that employment applicants disclose any final administrative decision or final judicial decision issued within the last seven years determining that the applicant committed sexual harassment.
