Completion of sixty (60) semester credit hours from an accredited college or university that includes at least six (6) semester credit hours in Chemistry, Microbiology, or Bacteriology, OR One (1) year of experience performing laboratory analyses, collecting samples, maintaining laboratory records, and calibrating laboratory equipment. Employees perform routine chemical, biological, and microbiological testing, calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments, collect samples from water production and distribution facilities, and maintain accurate records that support operational decisions.
