This position will report to the GSC Aeronautics Systems Packaging, Handling, Storage, & Transportability (PHS&T) Manager and will be responsible for developing and maintaining innovative packaging solutions in support of all programs and sites across the sector, such as specialized containers, pallets, material handling devices, shipping fixtures, shadow boards, and parts protection devices. Job duties will encompass leadership in determining packaging specifications according to the nature of various products, cost limitations, quality & legal requirements, and the type of protection required, considering need for resistance to such external variables as moisture, corrosive chemicals, temperature variations, light heat, rough handling, and tampering.
