The Medical Department Manager directly supervises Medical Department staff and is responsible for establishing clear expectations, maintaining accountability, supporting employee development, coordinating staffing and schedules, and ensuring established medical protocols and veterinarian instructions are consistently followed. This position is responsible for staff management, workflow coordination, medical operations, training, quality assurance, resource management, and departmental performance while ensuring animals receive timely, compassionate, and appropriate medical care.
