The position will include additional strategic responsibilities based on the candidate’s qualifications and the School of Music's needs, focusing on one or more of the following areas: aural skills, chamber music, commercial ensembles, conducting, jazz band, music education, music industry, music technology, music theory, private/applied lessons, and string orchestra. This position also includes responsibilities as Director of Instrumental Studies, coordinating aspects of the instrumental music program such as curriculum development, assessment, adjunct faculty supervision, and student recruitment and mentorship.
