We are looking for a dedicated Respiratory Therapist - Nights like you to be a part of our team.<h5>Job Summary and Qualifications</h5> As the Registered Respiratory Therapist(RRT), you will be responsible for providing Cardiopulmonary care services in accordance with specific physician orders, department policies and procedures. The RRT administers respiratory care and life support to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system, performs diagnostic tests of the cardiovascular and pulmonary system to aid physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of heart and lung disorders.  What you will do in this role:?  <ul><li>Deliver and assess responses to ordered therapy per plan of care including routine and intensive therapy and diagnostic procedures. </li><li>Utilize various types of oxygen and other therapeutic gas equipment such as masks, tents and incubators.</li><li>Administer prescribed doses of medicinal gases and aerosol drugs.</li><li>Measure ventilatory volumes, pressures and blood gas analysis.</li><li>Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition and general acceptance of treatment. </li><li>Perform a variety of duties related to setting up, operating, cleaning, sterilizing, and storing respiratory therapy equipment</li></ul><h6>What qualifications you will need:</h6><ul><li>Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date</li><li>Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date</li><li>Associate Degree</li><li>TN (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner, and (NBRC-RRT) Registered Respiratory Therapist</li></ul>Parkridge Medical Center is a 270+ bed hospital. We are near downtown Chattanooga. We feature comprehensive diagnostic, medical, and surgical services. These services include cardiovascular surgery and cancer treatment. These services include intensive care, orthopedic and spine surgery, and rehabilitation. The facility includes a state of the art neurosurgery program. Patients also have access to OB-GYN services. Patients have access to a level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
