This contractor position offers a unique opportunity to empower students with disabilities as they develop workplace skills and navigate employment opportunities. Position Details<ul><li>Title: Employment Specialist/Coordinator for Pre-ETS Students</li><li>Location: Kalispel, MT</li><li>Salary: $20-$25/hour</li><li>Supervisor: Christine Morrison</li></ul>Responsibilities<ul><li>Set up and coordinate Work-Based Learning Experiences, Job shadows, and/or Informational Interviews with local employers.</li><li>Support students as they practice workplace skills and navigate job expectations.</li><li>Establish and maintain strong relationships with local employers, addressing any concerns or behaviors that arise on-site.</li><li>Market the program to businesses to create new employment opportunities for students.</li><li>Document student progress and attend meetings with VRBS, School Liaisons, and employers as needed.</li><li>Some travel in the greater Kalispel Area</li><li>Training as required by the state of Montana</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required.</li><li>Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is required.</li><li>Proven ability to build connections with businesses and market programs is preferred.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster relationships with High Schools, students, employers, and stakeholders.</li><li>Able to manage schedule and maintain case notes and other administrative tasks in a timely manner.</li></ul>Interview ProcessAn email will be sent to qualified candidates requesting an interview.  Interviews will be conducted via Zoom at a mutually agreeable time.
