The Part -time Service Engagement Specialist for the Welcome Center will perform a "host of customer service and administrative duties" that support the University's efforts to connect and engage the internal and external customers, via incoming calls and inquiries regarding admissions into the University and application process; direct inquiries about campus programs and campus life; is responsible for meeting, greeting and providing assistance to prospective students, alumni, and special guests in the Welcome & Intake Centers and at the mobile Kiosks. The System will generally, upon request, provide appropriate aids and services leading to effective communication for qualified persons with disabilities so they can participate equally in the System's programs, services, and activities, including qualified sign language interpreters, assistive listening devices, documents in Braille, and other ways of making communications accessible to people who have speech, hearing, or vision impairments.
