Under professional direction, to serve as the chief business officer of the District; to plan, organize, direct and manage District business services, with responsibility for financial planning, budgeting and accounting, payroll, purchasing and contracts, records, risk management, Workers Compensation, health and welfare benefits, facilities, sustainability, maintenance and operations; bond facilities and capital projects involving school construction/modernization, student nutrition services, and related management functions. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and abilities would be: Experience: Experience in accounting, business administration, or related experience comparable to that required to direct fiscal services, sustainability and maintenance operations, facilities and construction/modernization projects, and student nutrition services operations in a California school district, including employee supervision and other management responsibility.
