Key Responsibilities: • Oversee day-to-day student accounts operations, including billing, payment processing, refunds, and collections • Supervise, train, and support student accounts staff with a focus on service excellence • Resolve complex or sensitive account issues with professionalism, discretion, and a student-centered approach • Administer and monitor payment plans, balancing institutional policy with flexibility and student needs • Review and reconcile student account transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance • Prepare reports on receivables, aging, and account trends to support planning and decision-making • Collaborate closely with Financial Aid, Registrar, Admissions, Advising, and IT to provide a seamless student experience • Ensure compliance with FERPA, Title IV, and institutional policies while maintaining a supportive, approachable office culture. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, higher education administration, or a related field • 3-5 years of experience in student accounts, accounts receivable, or student financial services (higher education preferred) • Demonstrated experience providing customer service in a complex, policy-driven environment • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial information in a clear, student-friendly way.
