As a member of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education and Student Success Leadership Team, the AVPSS contributes to institutional planning and decision-making by helping align academic, administrative, and budgetary priorities across the Vice Provost's portfolio, with particular emphasis on partnership with the Office of the Registrar regarding academic policies, curricular experiential learning pathways, and student records processes that directly impact student success and the student experience. Working in close partnership with the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education and Student Success, the AVPSS co-develops and advances a long-term vision for expanding innovative, scalable, and technology-enhanced student success strategies - including predictive analytics, early alert systems, proactive advising models, academic coaching, and high-impact practices - to strengthen institutional effectiveness and improve student outcomes.
