A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory, and candidates must be 21 years or older. While no prior experience is necessary, a keen interest in pursuing a CDL A license and a delivery driver career is highly encouraged.You should be able to pass the Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) standards to meet our hiring and insurability criteria. Strong comprehension of basic warehouse and delivery operations will set you up for success. Physical agility is key; you'll frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally more.Excellent communication skills are necessary for effective interaction during deliveries. While maneuvering a loaded two-wheel cart down ramps, your ability to maintain balance and coordination will be vital. Overview:
Northwood College is seeking a passionate part-time Cosmetology Instructor to help train the next generation of professionals. The instructor will provide both classroom and hands-on instruction, preparing students for success in the field.  This position teaches during the 8-week summer semester, tentatively scheduled from June 7 through July 30 in 2027, pending final calendar approval. Classes run Monday–Wednesday from 7:30 AM to 4:50 PM and Thursday from 7:30 AM to 4:20 PM, with a shortened final week. The ideal candidate will communicate regularly with co-instructors to support student success. Even though the position starts summer of 2027, the successful candidate will attend New Faculty Orientation on July 14–16 and July 28–30, 2026, as well as program-specific training on August 11–12, 2026. Northwood Tech Instructors teach in a discipline area in which they have specific training and competence. Instructors are expected to foster learner success, assess learner achievement, and continually improve learning opportunities. Instructors teach in a variety of learning environments including face-to-face, online, web-conferencing, and hybrid classrooms. Instructors are expected to continually improve the overall quality and delivery of learning, including the support of program and collegewide initiatives.

Qualifications:
Degree & Experience Required:<ul><li>Valid State of Wisconsin Cosmetology License or ability to successfully obtain license prior to start of employment contract</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in the field or closely related field and 2 years (4,000 hours) of occupational experience, of which at least 1 year (2,000 hours) shall be within 5 years prior to the date of appointment. Salary:
FY26 Salary - Adjunct Faculty: Non-FQAS Completion - $44 / hour FQAS Completion - $49 / hour
