Provides instruction in literacy, adult basic education, GED test preparation, English language acquisition, family literacy, integrated English Literacy and civics education, integrated education and training, including career pathways, workplace education, and workforce preparation, including the National Career Readiness Certificate, and Ready To Work (RTW) skills integration. The Adult Education Instructor (ESL/GED) will provide direct instruction to adult learners and will carry out other instructional duties and instruction support activities according to the provisions to the Alabama State Plan for Adult Education and Family Literacy and the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).
