Position Title Operations Student Leads - (Service Desk and Maintenance) Team Finance & Administration Date 08/25/2025 Position Status Exempt X Non-Exempt Reports To Director of Operations Grade <ol><li>PURPOSE: </li></ol>Operations Student Leads provide leadership, training, communication, and support while acting as the main liaison for work assignments and communications between Operations leadership and student workers. Support is divided between two distinct yet mission-critical areas. The Service Desk and Maintenance teams. <ol><li>KEY RESULT AREAS: </li></ol>Service Desk: Team The Service Desk serves as the central point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and alumni who are on campus. It is the public face of Luther Seminary. This position leads the Service Desk team, providing scheduling, training, and daily staff triage for student workers and themselves. The majority of work in this position will be performed on regularly scheduled shifts in addition to meetings, event support requirements, and an occasional need to fill in for workers who are unable to work their shift. This position will receive an additional $ 2.50 per hour. Specific duties will vary based on the assigned shift and the campus schedule, but primary responsibilities are as follows <ul><li>Use scheduling software to set up a monthly schedule for student workers for both Operations teams. </li><li>Learn the building hours and schedule priorities </li><li>Work with leadership to schedule workers for events outside of normal hours </li><li>Communicate with other Service Desk workers about scheduling needs, timelines, and expectations; managing weekly hour maximums </li><li>Serve as a first point of contact for students who are unable to fulfill their shifts. </li><li>Update Operations documents and SOPs as needed. </li><li>Provide training to service desk student workers on our processes, policies, and procedures. </li><li>Provide Operations department office support. </li><li>Other Duties as Assigned </li></ul>Maintenance Team The Maintenance Team is the focal point for providing and maintaining a clean, healthy, safe, and attractive work environment for all of Luther Seminary's guests, Students, Staff, and Faculty. Trips and breaks must be coordinated with the on-call team and the Operations Coordinator </li><li>The student must be punctual. Provide prescription drug therapy to patients/customers ensuring accurate labeling and dispensing of medications in a timely fashion.

Responsibilities/Job Description:
Provide clinical care to patients of the pharmacy. Assist the pharmacy manager in the operation and management of the pharmacy. Provide indirect supervision for support staff and ensure adherence to all policies and procedures. Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide appropriate clinical care including patient counseling and prospective drug use evaluation to all patients receiving their medication therapy from the Pharmacy.</li><li>Perform initial patient evaluation as it pertains to the prescribed therapies. Collect, analyze, interpret, and evaluate appropriate data relative to medication therapy.</li><li>Evaluate the significance of signs and symptoms relative to disease processes and makes recommendations for the modification of drug therapy.</li><li>Evaluate the significance and clinical importance of adverse reactions and complications associated with drug therapy.</li><li>Monitor patient records for potential drug interactions as well as patient allergies.</li><li>Provide counseling and answer questions from patients, family and health care professionals concerning drug therapy.</li><li>Provide prescription drug therapy to patients/customers ensuring accurate labeling and dispensing of medications in a timely fashion.</li><li>Identify and resolve patient specific medication related problems and issues in the patient’s best interest.</li><li>Ensure dispensing of prescriptions in accordance with all legal requirements, regulatory agencies, third party contracts, and Fairview Pharmacy Services Policy and Procedures.</li><li>Responsible for error management and medication safety activities.</li><li>Responsible for accurate and complete billing to payers.</li><li>Evaluate the significance and clinical importance of adverse reactions and complications associated with drug therapy.</li><li>Utilize all technologies to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the dispensing process.</li><li>Participate in team meetings/discussions with clinical pharmacy specialists, pharmacy residents, pharmacy students and technicians.</li><li>Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served.</li></ul> Required Qualifications<ul><li>Enrolled as a Student at an ACPE accredited school of Pharmacy beginning Fall</li><li>Excellent customer service skills, proficient in English language, capable of solving problems effectively, ability to follow policies and procedures, and competent mathematical skills.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Enrolled as a Student at the University of Minnesota School of Pharmacy</li><li>Pharmacy experience in infusion therapies, retail and/or hospital setting.</li><li>Pharmacy Intern Current Minnesota</li></ul>
