Job Description Summary: The Sales Engineering role will support Account Executives in new and existing partner relationships, as well as direct business in order to grow revenue opportunities for our Mainframe business. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : + Easily relate to customer challenges and provide clear, non-technical, value-based solutions. + Present solutions/demos to customers and partners with or without sales support. + Support partners in all aspects of the sales process. + Successfully convey technical details to a non-technical audience, as well as foster credibility with more technical audiences. + Provide knowledge and skills to help qualify business opportunities by understanding the user requirements and technical environment. + Provide ongoing mentoring and guidance on all software components, design techniques, methodology and delivery concept to partners and peers + Handle objections professionally; answer questions quickly and coherently; deal with challenges assertively and persuasively. + Self-manage assignments and administrative tasks, managing multiple projects simultaneously from start to finish. Required Qualifications: + Based in United States with applicable software knowledge/experience/work. + A minimum of 8+ years of relevant sales engineering support experience. + AMC Enterprise Software and/or Mainframe Modernization experience preferred. + Strong knowledge of Assembler coding and function skills. + Proven experience in Assembler code modernization techniques and/or Assembler conversion to various code languages including COBOL and JAVA. + Problem solving and requirements gathering skills. + Engaging written and verbal communication skills. + Highly motivated and comfortable taking on a variety of tasks in order to satisfy business requirements. + Detail-oriented and can rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts and technologies. + Ability to work independently and engage team support as required. + Ability to prioritize and manage workload to meet defined deadlines. + Must be comfortable working in a rapidly changing and sometimes unstructured environment. + Committed to Rocket's core values of empathy, humanity, trust and love. #LI-Remote #LI-MM1 The base salary range for this role is $128,925.00 - $162,350.00 /year. Proactively reports any customer concerns encountered or other problems encountered.</li><li>Maintains a neat personal appearance including a clean uniform.</li><li>Attains a thorough understanding and becomes a proficient user of the Raven handheld device.</li><li>Promotes good customer relations by professionally interacting with all customers and by respecting customer property.</li><li>In accordance with Heatable pledges and guarantees, maintains a clean and organized truck stocked with appropriate tools and safety equipment.
