Under the supervision of the Chief Nurse Executive or Director of Nursing, the Nurse Instructor (NI), Correctional Facility (CF), is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, assessing, and evaluating the training, educational and competency programs for all nursing personnel in compliance with the Incarcerated Medical Services Policies and Procedures, the Mental Health Services Delivery System (MHSDS) Program Guide, and the various levels of nursing licensure. Mission: To facilitate the successful reintegration of the individuals in our care back to their communities equipped with the tools to be drug-free, healthy, and employable members of society by providing education, treatment, rehabilitative, and restorative justice programs, all in a safe and humane environment.
