Expectations also include assisting with communications efforts, student advising, travel to middle schools and high schools and events to recruit students or provide enrichment, assisting with Positive Youth Development, student research, and science fair activities, assisting with Junior MANRRS chapter creations and student development, engaging with high school 4-H, FFA, Junior MANRRS, and Native Youth club members, and performing other duties as assigned in support of the NEXTGEN project and students. In support of the NEXTGEN USDA NIFA grant project and under the supervision of the Project Director/Principal Investigator (PD/PI), the highly self-motivated person in this position will liaise with the PD/PI, Co-PIs, College of Agriculture department chairs and academic coordinators, the dean's office, academic affairs, and current and future constituents in TN and the US to recruit and fill NEXTGEN scholarships each year.
