Responsibilities As part of a patient-first approach, nurse interns are given a valuable opportunity to partner with a registered nurse, nurse preceptor, or other licensed healthcare professional to develop critical thinking skills and experience to ensure a smooth transition in clinical practice upon graduation from an accredited nursing or other accredited occupational program.
