Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA), Marriage & Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA), Independent Clinical Social Work Associate (LICSWA), or Licensed Agency Affiliated Counselor (LAAC) in Washington State. Provides clinical supervision, coaching, case record review, and session debrief to assigned intern students in the areas of direct service, documentation, clinical and professional growth, and accountability.

DescriptionPosition Summary: This position provides clinical mental health services to children, families, and adults in an outpatient community mental health clinic. Responsibilities will include intakes, diagnosis, case management, and mental health treatment services to identified clients. This position is also responsible for supervision and oversight of counseling or social work students and interns. Responsibilities: Clinical Practice<ul><li>Provide intake assessments, diagnosis, and ongoing culturally sensitive treatment to children, families, and adults using Evidence Based Practices</li><li>Complete required documentation within the identified timeframes</li><li>Develop clinical treatment plans which focus on client strengths, culture, needs, and goals within the briefest time frame for successful achievement.</li><li>Maintain encounters/productivity of at least 30% of reportable/billable services</li><li>Participate in ongoing Continuous Quality Improvement to assure the services provided demonstrate best practice standards and meet all contractual requirements</li><li>Actively participate in individual and group supervision, clinical staff meetings, and other multi-disciplinary meetings</li><li>Staff cases which require specialist consultations and psychiatric consultation as required</li><li>Coordinate client treatment with schools, physicians, and other community resources and referrals to community services whenever necessary</li><li>Observe confidentiality in all related program functions with staff and clients</li><li>Establish and maintain working relationships with other community mental health providers, primary care, and other referral sources</li></ul>Intern Supervision<ul><li>Provides clinical supervision, coaching, case record review, and session debrief to assigned intern students in the areas of direct service, documentation, clinical and professional growth, and accountability</li><li>Provides on the job training and facilitate other internship development opportunities</li><li>Provides interns with opportunities to shadow sessions and co-facilitate sessions</li><li>Attends meetings in relationship to service delivery as needed, with appropriate staff within the student's master's program</li></ul>Performs other duties as assigned QualificationsJob Requirements:The following requirements are those that are normally required for performance of this position. Non-Physical Requirements:Qualifications for candidates hired at the MHP level: $87,450- $98,050 per year<ul><li>Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA), Marriage & Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA), Independent Clinical Social Work Associate (LICSWA), or Licensed Agency Affiliated Counselor (LAAC) in Washington State</li></ul>Qualifications for candidates hired at the Licensed level: $92,750- $103,350 per year<ul><li>Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), Independent Clinical Social Work (LICSW) license in Washington State</li></ul>Minimum requirements for all candidates:<ul><li>Master's degree in social work preferred, or master's degree in counseling, clinical psychology, or a related field leading to eligibility for clinical licensure required</li><li>Two years of post-master's experience working with children, families, and adults in a professional outpatient setting required</li><li>Valid Washington driver's license and minimum required liability insurance for WA State</li><li>Must be deemed insurable as determined by Catholic Charities liability insurance provider</li><li>Operate from a strengths-based perspective</li><li>Strong clinical assessment skills and knowledge</li><li>Possess good verbal and written communication skills and excellent documentation skills</li><li>Ability to provide service in a culturally sensitive manner</li><li>Ability to work independently and as a team member</li><li>Ability to work in a collaborative manner with referral sources</li><li>Ability to represent the agency in a professional manner within the community</li><li>Bilingual English & Spanish preferred</li></ul>Employment is conditional upon:<ul><li>Being cleared by criminal background check and fingerprinting when required</li><li>Compliance with the attached Addendum regarding Disclosure of Outside Employment for purposes of evaluating potential conflicts</li></ul>Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pmWage Range: $87,450 - $103,350 per hour, depending on experience and credentialsBenefits:<ul><li>13 paid holidays, 12 days of vacation, 12 days of sick leave per year</li><li>Health insurance including medical & prescription coverage, with optional dental and vision insurance plans.
