NIS Express is hiring Class A CDL Driver Trainees in Little Rock, AR. If you have completed 120 or more hours at an accredited CDL school, you qualify for our paid one-on-one training program. No over-the-road experience required.PAID TRAINING PROGRAMOur training program is built for new drivers who are serious about starting a long-term career in trucking. Here is what it includes:<ul><li>3 to 5 weeks of fully paid one-on-one training</li><li>A dedicated trainer assigned to you personally from day one</li><li>Real miles, real freight – hands-on training from the start</li><li>Training topics include: <ul><li>Safe tractor-trailer handling</li><li>ELD compliance and hours-of-service logging</li><li>Pre and post-trip vehicle inspections</li><li>NIS Express dispatch procedures and company policies</li></ul></li><li>Supervised evaluations before going solo – you go solo only when you are ready</li></ul>PAY AND BENEFITS<ul><li>Weekly pay: $1,400 – $1,800 based on experience, route and miles driven</li><li>Weekly direct deposit</li><li>Safety and performance bonuses</li><li>Home time weekly or bi-weekly depending on chosen fleet</li><li>Late-model 2024–2025 Freightliner and Kenworth tractors with APUs</li><li>Benefits starting day one: medical, dental, vision, company-paid life insurance and AD&D</li><li>401(k) with company match after eligibility</li><li>Paid holidays and PTO</li><li>Pet and rider programs available</li><li>Paid orientation</li></ul>RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Operate a Class A tractor-trailer safely and in compliance with all DOT regulations</li><li>Transport no-touch dry van freight – approximately 70% drop and hook</li><li>Meet delivery appointments and maintain on-time performance</li><li>Keep accurate ELD logs, DVIRs and trip reports</li><li>Perform daily vehicle inspections and report issues immediately</li><li>Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers</li></ul>REQUIREMENTS<ul><li>Valid Class A CDL license required</li><li>Must be 21 years of age or older</li><li>Completion of 120 or more hours at an accredited CDL school (drivers with a valid Class A CDL and no OTR experience are also welcome to apply)</li><li>Acceptable driving record with a focus on safety</li><li>Ability to pass a DOT physical exam and pre-employment drug screen</li></ul>Apply now, Applications are reviewed daily.
