A qualified adjunct faculty member meets one of the following routes: Master’s Degree (in-field) – Holds an earned master’s or higher from a regionally accredited institution in information technology, information systems, computer science, cybersecurity, software development, cloud technologies, data analytics, or a closely related field; or Master’s Degree (out-of-field + graduate IT coursework) – Holds an earned master’s degree in another discipline with 18 graduate semester hours (or equivalent) of IT-related coursework beyond the introductory level; or Master’s Degree (out-of-field + professional documentation) – Holds an earned master’s degree in another discipline and demonstrates two or more of the following: • Professional certification(s) (e.g., CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+/Cloud+, AWS Cloud Practitioner/Solutions Architect Associate, Microsoft Azure, CCNA, Linux+, etc.). • Additional post-baccalaureate subject-matter training (e.g., 18 semester hours, CEUs, vendor, or military training); or Bachelor’s Degree (discipline-aligned + professional documentation) – Holds an earned bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in IT, IS, CS, cybersecurity, software, cloud, data, or a closely related field and demonstrates two or more of the following: • Professional certification(s) (e.g., CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+/Cloud+, AWS Cloud Practitioner/Solutions Architect Associate, Microsoft Azure, CCNA, Linux+, etc.).
