This employee will also monitor and report status and any needs of the vehicles for maintenance and safe operation; maintain first aid supplies and fire suppression equipment on the vehicles; record mileage, number of passengers, times, and other required information on forms, and wireless devices; assist passengers with seat belts, getting in and out of vehicles as needed and required; maintain interior and exterior vehicle cleanliness; operate wheelchair lift and secure mobility aids as required; other duties as assigned. This work also involves the physical abilities of balancing, climbing, perceiving sounds at normal speaking levels, kneeling, using mental acuity, reaching, speaking, standing, stooping, expressing ideas by the spoken word, shouting to be heard above ambient noise, and walking.
