Qualifications: Any equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (A) and (B) below: Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college with an Associate's degree (or completion of 60 college credits), OR, Two (2) years paid full time or its part time equivalent experience involving the supervision, counseling, or instruction of students in a school facility, institution or agency devoted to the care, education, rehabilitation or detention of children; OR, Two (2) years paid full time or its part time equivalent experience responsible for the protection of people or property in a position such as Police Officer, Security Specialist or Military Police. When it is determined by the Assistant Superintendent for Instruction that two Student Behavioral Assistants are not needed in the tutoring center on any given day, one person will be required to report to the High School to provide behavioral and academic support to students.
