Develop and offer faculty workshops and online tutorials incorporating technological, and instructional best practices; develop training materials, including syllabi, learning outcomes, and visual aids for faculty workshops; identify the best online faculty training materials, coordinate and deliver online teaching certification; provide ongoing support related to online, hybrid and other emerging technologies course delivery; analyze and evaluate, in concert with IT Department, relevant equipment and software with an emphasis on open source materials. Education Code §87408.6 states that no person shall be initially employed by a community college district in an academic or classified position unless the person has submitted to an examination within the past sixty (60) days to determine that he/she/they is free of active tuberculosis.
