This individual possesses the basic knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care and transportation, and functions as part of a comprehensive EMS response under medical oversight. An EMT performs interventions with the basic equipment typically found on an ambulance and is a link from the scene to the emergency health care system. About the Program:The eligible candidate will be hired as an employee and compensated at a training wage while in attendance at Crafton Hills College through AMR-San Bernardino.  The program is a rigorous ten-week training period which qualifies the employee to take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (“NREMT”) - EMT Examination.
