They are carefully selected and come with full health insurance, spending money and they speak English well. And you can of course choose your own student. As a host family, you provide room and meals while at home, and a loving family to be a part of. Title: Student Worker - Math/Science & Arts/HumanitiesSalary Range: $14.00 per hourContract Term Length: Not ApplicableStandard Hours: up to 20 hours per weekWork Location: On-SiteFLSA Status: Non-ExemptCollege: Southcentral KY Community & Technical CollegeCampus Location: Southcentral Kentucky CTCDepartment: Math/Science & Arts/HumanitiesJob SummaryGeneral office and customer service duties in support of the SKYCTC Math/Science & Arts/Humanities Department.This position is on the Main Campus, located at 1845 Loop Drive, Bowling Green, KY 42101.The job pays $14.00 an hour with a maximum of 20 hours per week.Anticipated employment is August 2025 - May 2026, subject to employment expectations, such as dependability, punctuality, and confidentiality.Job Duties:This position will assist with clerical duties such as the following:<ul><li>Greeting visitors and directing them to the correct office</li><li>Checking campus mail and delivering to the appropriate offices</li><li>Answering phones and taking messages</li><li>Filing, copying, and scanning documents</li><li>Assisting with event preparation</li><li>Other duties as assigned by supervisor</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications:Submits a completed, current year FAFSA to SKYCTC<ul><li>Is a U.S. citizen or an eligible non-citizen</li><li>Is credential-seeking in a SKYCTC program of study</li><li>Maintains a GPA of 2.0 or higher and makes Satisfactory Academic Progress</li><li>Maintains enrollment in 6 or more program-applicable credit hours</li><li>Has "unmet need" in the financial aid budget to allow for a federal work-study award</li><li>Consents to state and national pre-employment background checks, per Kentucky State Law</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:Additional Skills Requested:Employee Rights - Employee Polygraph Protection ActEqual Opportunity Employer - The Kentucky Community and Technical College System is an equal educational and employment opportunity institution.
