These duties would include, but not limited to: Nebulizer and MDI treatments, Drawing arterial blood gases, Setting patients up on invasive and noninvasive ventilation (Ventilators/CPAP/BiPAP), Incentive Spirometer instructs, Chest physiotherapy (via Metaneb, Aerobika, vest machine or manual CPT), Suctioning tracheostomy patients and those on ventilators, Assisting with intubation, CPR, Listening to breath sounds, Assisting in developing the patient respiratory treatment plan, Trach cares, Cleaning and setting up of RT equipment. Must be a student enrolled in a respiratory therapy or polysomnography technology education program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs, its successor organization, or another nationally recognized accrediting organization.
