Independently performs a wide range of technical human resources work in support of a departmental human resources program or in support of one or more functional areasin the central human resources department requiring the interpretation and application of civil service laws, human resources policies and procedures, and pertinent provisions of collective bargaining agreements; and performs other related duties as required.
