NIS Express is hiring Class A CDL Driver Trainees in Van Buren, AR. If you have completed 120 or more hours at an accredited CDL school, you qualify for our paid one-on-one training program. No over-the-road experience required.PAID TRAINING PROGRAMOur training program is built for new drivers who are serious about starting a long-term career in trucking. Here is what it includes:<ul><li>3 to 5 weeks of fully paid one-on-one training</li><li>A dedicated trainer assigned to you personally from day one</li><li>Real miles, real freight – hands-on training from the start</li><li>Training topics include: <ul><li>Safe tractor-trailer handling</li><li>ELD compliance and hours-of-service logging</li><li>Pre and post-trip vehicle inspections</li><li>NIS Express dispatch procedures and company policies</li></ul></li><li>Supervised evaluations before going solo – you go solo only when you are ready</li></ul>PAY AND BENEFITS<ul><li>Weekly pay: $1,400 – $1,800 based on experience, route and miles driven</li><li>Weekly direct deposit</li><li>Safety and performance bonuses</li><li>Home time weekly or bi-weekly depending on chosen fleet</li><li>Late-model 2024–2025 Freightliner and Kenworth tractors with APUs</li><li>Benefits starting after 30 days: medical, dental, vision, company-paid life insurance and AD&D</li><li>401(k) with company match after eligibility</li><li>Paid holidays and PTO</li><li>Pet and rider programs available</li><li>Paid orientation</li></ul>RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Operate a Class A tractor-trailer safely and in compliance with all DOT regulations</li><li>Transport no-touch dry van freight – approximately 70% drop and hook</li><li>Meet delivery appointments and maintain on-time performance</li><li>Keep accurate ELD logs, DVIRs and trip reports</li><li>Perform daily vehicle inspections and report issues immediately</li><li>Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers</li></ul>REQUIREMENTS<ul><li>Valid Class A CDL license required</li><li>Must be 21 years of age or older</li><li>Completion of 120 or more hours at an accredited CDL school (drivers with a valid Class A CDL and no OTR experience are also welcome to apply)</li><li>Acceptable driving record with a focus on safety</li><li>Ability to pass a DOT physical exam and pre-employment drug screen</li></ul>Apply now. Applications are reviewed daily.

The Communications Specialist/Fine Arts Center Technician supports the district communications team’s efforts to inform, engage, and connect with stakeholders including students, families, staff, and the community. Assist academic departments, student organizations, and community partners with live event coverage, including athletics, fine arts, and special events.

<div id="divJobDetails">Position Summary  The Communications Specialist/Fine Arts Center Technician supports the district communications team’s efforts to inform, engage, and connect with stakeholders including students, families, staff, and the community. This role is responsible for helping create and manage content and assisting in telling the story of the district. Key Responsibilities<ul><li style="font-weight:400">Develop and help manage content for the district website, social media platforms, and digital communications</li><li style="font-weight:400">Write and edit a variety of materials, including news stories, blog posts, media releases, and event promotions</li><li style="font-weight:400">Capture and produce photo and video content to highlight district programs, events, and achievements</li><li style="font-weight:400">Collaborate with schools and departments to promote initiatives, events, and student success stories</li><li style="font-weight:400">Maintain a consistent district voice and brand across all platforms</li><li style="font-weight:400">Support communication campaigns for district-wide initiatives, programs, and celebrations</li><li style="font-weight:400">Assist academic departments, student organizations, and community partners with live event coverage, including athletics, fine arts, and special events</li><li style="font-weight:400">Assist other members of the Pointer Media and FAC staff throughout the year as needed</li><li style="font-weight:400">Coordinate with community partners and support recognition efforts</li><li style="font-weight:400">Provide technical assistance as needed throughout the district</li><li style="font-weight:400">Other duties as assigned</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li style="font-weight:400">Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field preferred</li><li style="font-weight:400">Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail</li><li style="font-weight:400">Experience managing social media platforms and digital content</li><li style="font-weight:400">In-depth photography skills required</li><li style="font-weight:400">Experience in photo editing software (Adobe Lightroom/Photoshop) required</li><li style="font-weight:400">Basic video production skills preferred</li><li style="font-weight:400">Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment</li><li style="font-weight:400">Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams</li></ul>Preferred Skills<ul><li style="font-weight:400">Familiarity with content management systems and social media</li><li style="font-weight:400">Graphic design experience using platforms such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva</li><li style="font-weight:400">Understanding of branding and storytelling strategies</li></ul>Physical Requirements*<ul><li style="font-weight:400">Ability to stand for long periods of time</li><li style="font-weight:400">Bend, stoop, reach, squat, climb, work overhead</li><li style="font-weight:400">In-district and out-of-district travel </li></ul>*Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Reports to: Principal Contract: 240 days </div>
