Primary responsibilities include: teaching undergraduate courses in poultry science, animal sciences, and professional development; advising and mentoring undergraduate students within the School of Animal Sciences; expanding experiential learning opportunities including internships, industry engagement, undergraduate research, student organizations, and applied learning experiences; collaborating with faculty, staff, and the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Academic Programs Office to support student recruitment, retention, and success; contributing to scholarly and educational initiatives within the School, College, and University; and maintaining strong connections with the poultry and allied industries to ensure educational programs remain relevant, contemporary, and responsive to workforce needs. Preference will be given to candidates with: demonstrated understanding of the poultry industry and contemporary poultry production systems; Experience teaching undergraduate poultry science or animal science courses; Demonstrated success in undergraduate advising, mentoring, and student development; Experience developing experiential learning or industry engagement opportunities; and industry experience or strong professional connections within the poultry sector.
