Ensure students understand the circumstances that contribute to the problems facing those social workers who serve individuals, families, groups, organizations, neighborhoods, other geographic areas, society, and those in other countries, Ensure students understand how to apply the NASW Code of Ethics or the CFLE Code of Ethics to our work at all these levels, Ensure students tailor services and policies to the needs of the individuals, families, groups, agencies and communities that we serve and champion, Ensure students advocate for tailored services and policies at the macro and mezzo levels, Ensure students advocate for strategies and policies that ensure positive outcomes for those we serve (including organizations, neighborhoods, society at large). Part-Time Lecturers are expected to attend orientation/trainings/liaison meetings 3x per semester, submit course syllabus, order textbooks or other reading materials, provide developmentally meaningful feedback, present engaging learning experiences, respond to students and agencies in a timely manner, communicate regularly with designated course chair, maintain collegial and respectful relations with members of the UofL community and external stakeholders, and submit course data and final grades within university deadlines, and comply with other requests as a part-time lecturer.
