Job Responsibilities: Work directly with Department Chair and leadership team to help develop, support and implement core strategic initiatives by: --Conducting background research on specific topics--Identifying potential funding sources--Developing proposals, including for intramural and extramural funding--Developing presentations--Developing white papers, policy papers, think pieces for publication in high impact journals and top media outlets--Coordinating these and related efforts across divisions. --Ensure deliverables are on time, within budget, and of top quality--Assemble project plans and teamwork assignments, direct and monitor work efforts, identify resource needs, perform quality review, and escalate functional, quality, and timeline issues appropriately --Work effectively with key stakeholders across the department to move projects forward.
