You will train for your Class-A CDL, including how to safely operate a tractor-trailer, to unload/deliver various products to an assigned route schedule, and build relationships with each customer using a positive, friendly attitude and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations. Must have schedule flexibility ~ i.e. overtime hours, working weekends and holidays, and the ability to start and end at a variety of times are all required to successfully meet customer needs.

<div>Job Summary:<div>Sysco has immediate job openings for CDL A Delivery Truck Driver Trainees without a CDL to train to become dependable Delivery Partners. You will train for your Class-A CDL, including how to safely operate a tractor-trailer, to unload/deliver various products to an assigned route schedule, and build relationships with each customer using a positive, friendly attitude and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations.Duties and Responsibilities:</div><div><ul><li>Ability to unload product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart, and place in designated customer storage areas</li><li>Transporting product down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions</li><li>Constantly bending and twisting while loading and unloading product and retrieving items from the trailer</li><li>Ability to verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures. Contact management for authorization when there are discrepancies on invoice and communicate all errors/returns</li><li>Perform pre-trip and post-trip responsibilities following the Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and Sysco policies</li><li>Pickup, load and unload damaged goods and customer returns and complete necessary paperwork</li><li>Complete DOT logs (electronic or manual as required), company vehicle maintenance reports, and reconcile with appropriate company representative as required</li><li>Ability to deliver product within assigned route schedule and time windows.
