Knowledge and experience in data management • Ability to compile, organize and present statistical data and project, and annual reports • Ability to collaborate with in-demand industry human resource personnel • Ability to offer financial literacy and economic education to SSS-participants • Experience in developing manuals, conducting evaluations, assessments and cohort studies • Knowledge and experience in providing academic, graduate school, career and financial aid advising • Experience in conducting workshops • Knowledge and experience with the challenges that face low-income, first-generation and individuals with disabilities who are struggling academically • Experience in developing student activities that promote student retention and foster a climate that is supportive of student success • Ability to recruit, train, select and supervise student assistants • Experience working with TRIO Programs or other similar projects • Experience in interpreting and complying with federal regulations • Strong organizational, oral and communication skills • Ability and willingness to work irregular and flexible hours • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. A condition of the grant requires Database Specialist & Academic Advisor candidates to possess a bachelors degree in counseling, higher education, business, social science, or related field, with at least two (2) years of experience in data management.
