This role is essential to maintaining operational efficiency and regulatory integrity in our educational environment. On occasion, you may be asked to assist with the enrollment process including meeting with prospective students. Key Responsibilities Compliance and Record Management <ol><li>Ensure student files are complete and compliant with TWC regulations, with regular audits and documentation.</li><li>Manage records for student refunds, withdrawals, and other compliance-related paperwork.</li><li>Conduct weekly compliance checks on new files, aiming for 100% compliance by the end of the third month.</li><li>Create new student files, ensuring all appropriate documentation and signatures are captured</li><li>Follow-up with students to ensure they have turned in all necessary forms/documents.</li><li>Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive student and financial information.</li><li>Assist with front office duties, including greeting visitors, answering questions, and directing inquiries.</li><li>Provide backup support during peak enrollment periods, ensuring prospective students receive timely responses.</li><li>Assist prospective students with filling out enrollment forms.</li><li>Take prospective students on a tour of the school. </li></ol> Qualifications <ul><li>Education: A bachelor's degree or higher is required.</li><li>Experience: Minimum 1-3 years in student services, customer service, or compliance roles, ideally within an educational or vocational training environment. 5 + years preferred.</li><li>Skills:<ul><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li>Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities for managing records and appointments.</li><li>Proficient in MS Office and data management software; familiarity with TWC and VA compliance protocols is a plus.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines</li><li>Ability to use/create efficient spreadsheets and track data regularly </li></ul></li></ul>Once you have submitted your resume, please complete this video interview in order to proceed with the application process.

The mission of Correctional Managed Care is to address the healthcare needs of underserved patient populations within the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) and the Texas Juvenile Justice Department (TJJD).JOB SUMMARY:
Provides basic administrative and clinical assistance within the nursing department, allowing for the transition from student to employee, offering educational training leading to an opportunity to become a certified correctional medication aide.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (may include):
• Attends online medication aide college courses (140 hours).
• Completes medication aide course work and clinical activities/rotations (typical schedule will be 4 hours online training at the unit and 4 hours of on-the-job training daily).
• Operates personal computers to enter and assimilate data, generate reports, and draft routine correspondence.
• Performs facility administrative support tasks including but not limited to filing, mail functions, faxing, and typing correspondence.
• Answers phone calls and adjudicates each call appropriately.
• Assists with patient activities and care as assigned by the nurse manager/designee as indicated by the patient's plan of care.
• Maintains patient care areas with appropriate supplies.
• Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality of information and records.
• Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure.
• Performs related duties as required.KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Analytical/interpersonal skills.WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work environment is located in clean and safe medical facility within the confines of a prison, jail, or juvenile detention center. Conditions such as noise, odors, cramped work space and/or fumes could sometimes cause discomfort. Moderate to extreme physical effort may be required such as walking, standing, and lifting materials, equipment, objects, and/or patients. Lifting may be heavy and awkward, over 50lbs. Vision, hearing, talking, and sense of touch abilities must be adequate enough to enable one to quickly and accurately perform tasks such as: reading small print, reading from monitoring equipment, defining details, sending and receiving clear and accurate verbal communication. Frequent periods of concentrated or focused attention will be needed to interpret visual, auditory, and sensory inputs. Alertness and careful attention to detail will be required to avoid injury. May be assigned to more than one facility. May be exposed to such occupational hazards as communicable diseases, radiation, chemotherapeutic agents, and disoriented or combative patients. May be required to be on standby and work extended or alternate shifts in situations deemed necessary by Nurse Manager.
