Inspects trailer to ensure product is secure for undamaged transport of product.</li><li>Rides and trains with Driver Trainer of tractor-trailer to various destinations, gaining knowledge of commercial driving regulations and observing the Driver's skill in starting engine properly, approaching intersections, making turns, backing, parking, and maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.</li><li>Maintain driver log (Manual or PeopleNet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.</li><li>Assists the Driver in unloading trailer and delivering product into customer premises.</li><li>Provides customer service including on-time delivery of undamaged product, product returns and issuing valid customer credits.</li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul><br/><strong>Qualifications you'll bring as a Trainee Component Driver Teammate: </strong><br/><ul><li>High School Diploma or GED preferred.</li><li>Possess a Class A CDL.</li><li>Be at least 21 years of age.</li><li>Meet eligibility requirements in the McLane Transfer and Promotion Policy.</li><li>Ability and willingness to select/load/unload and/or deliver ALL products that may be ordered by McLane customers.</li><li>Read and comprehend labels, instructions, and bills of lading.</li><li>Perform mathematical calculations to verify quantities of product.</li><li>Communicate with customers, management, and other teammates.</li><li>Safely drive a tractor-trailer, use a 2-wheeled dolly, ramp, and on board PeopleNet devices. </li><li>This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. You do not need to apply to both postings to be considered</p><p>POSITION SUMMARY</p><p>The Dean of Students works as a member of a shared decision making administrative team to support the development and growth of the student body, faculty and staff in a safe and orderly environment that promotes excellence of education in all facets of the school operation.</p><p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p><ul><li>Work cooperatively with the principal and other school personnel in protecting the health and welfare of students and staff</li><li>Design and implement proactive activities toward preventing negative behavior in students, including assisting at-risk students to become connected and successful in school</li><li>Oversee matters of student attendance, including monitoring patterns and coordinating intervention strategies</li><li>Examine and evaluate school policies and rules and make recommendations for appropriate revisions to building principal(s)</li><li>Respond to disciplinary events in a manner that is consistent with district protocol ensuring fair, calibrated and student focused decision making in cooperation with the building administrators</li><li>Communicate effectively with students, parents/guardians, counselors, and support services personnel regarding attendance, discipline, safety, and student welfare, including interpreting relevant school and district policies, procedures, and outcomes</li><li>Assists with the development of handbooks, schedules, etc.</li><li>Assist in developing and administering practices dealing with campus control, security, and student supervision</li><li>Assist in coordination and supervision of the cafeteria during lunch time and the recess period</li><li>Work cooperatively with members of the Student Services Department to meet students' needs</li><li>Assist in the coordination of student activities, including extracurricular events and programs as appropriate</li><li>Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports related to attendance, discipline, and behavioral trends to inform building-level decision making</li><li>Establish and maintain an effective working relationship with the School Police Officer and other community safety partners</li><li>Monitor and assist with matters involving security</li><li>Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervising principal or Superintendent</li></ul><p>Qualifications:</p><p>Experience and Education:</p><ul><li>Valid Wisconsin teaching license.
