Ace Wellness Center, a mental health agency is looking to hire a Transportation Driver to ensure youth/adults are picked up promptly from school in the afternoon and returned safely in the evening The ideal candidate for this position is a conscientious, caring adult who has an excellent driving record, and is dependable, reliable, and responsible. Communication and attention to details are key components in this position. Driver responsibilities and duties: <ul><li>Transport children/ youth and adults, to and from ACE Wellness facility and home in the mornings and afternoons</li><li>Always maintain a clean and mechanically-sound bus</li><li>Obey all traffic laws</li><li>Perform inspections of the bus before and after each route</li><li>Ensure safety of all passengers</li><li>Discipline children when required to maintain a safe and healthy environment</li><li>Assist students with getting on and off the bus when required</li><li>Attend regularly scheduled safety meetings</li><li>Driver qualifications and skills:</li><li>Clean driving record (no traffic citations in last 5 years)</li><li>No at-fault traffic accidents in the last 5 years</li><li>1+ years' experience driving a school bus (training provided for the right candidate)</li><li>Ability to carry out assigned route on time</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>May require sitting for long periods of time</li></ul>Job Type: Part-time Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits: <ul><li>Paid training</li></ul>Schedule: <ul><li>Monday to Friday</li></ul>Experience: <ul><li>Van driver: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Commute: <ul><li>Lorain, OH 44053 (Required)</li></ul>Willingness to travel: <ul><li>25% (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person

Handles various clerical tasks, including maintaining proper program records, updating spreadsheets, billing summaries, ordering supplies, program registration information, flyers, etc. Writes reports, keeps accurate records, completes and maintains required documentation, including graduate surveys, student success, and job placement data.

<h2>Program Coordination & Support</h2><ul><li>Provides administrative support to leadership in matters of partnership contract processes.</li><li>Processes contracts, in collaboration with the College's legal department.</li><li>Answers questions and provides information to potential and current students regarding admissions, PLA credit, course enrollment, and graduation requirements.</li><li>Acts as a liaison for the College to partnership organizations.</li><li>Maintains open communication with partner agencies.</li><li>Maintains regular communication with Columbus State leadership and partner agencies; creates and delivers presentations for multiple audiences.</li><li>Assists in maintaining departmental web pages.</li><li>Coordinates and schedules coverage of departmentally sponsored events (recruiting, orientation, advising).</li><li>Schedules visits with prospective students as needed.</li><li>Supports the Chairperson by facilitating communication with faculty.</li><li>Assists in building course schedule each semester once faculty has determined course offerings, teaching assignments, etc.</li></ul><h2></h2><h2>Clerical & Administrative</h2><ul><li>Handles various clerical tasks, including maintaining proper program records, updating spreadsheets, billing summaries, ordering supplies, program registration information, flyers, etc.</li><li>Supports the day-to-day activities of the department.</li><li>Provides partnership agencies with contractually agreed upon information on a regular basis.</li><li>Maintains confidentiality of student records and maintains contracts and other sensitive subject matter.</li></ul><h2></h2><h2>Accreditation Support</h2><ul><li>Collects, evaluates, and reports data on department's academic programs.</li><li>Writes reports, keeps accurate records, completes and maintains required documentation, including graduate surveys, student success, and job placement data.</li><li>Schedules and coordinates accreditation board visits.</li></ul><h2></h2><h2>Culture of Respect</h2><ul><li>Fosters and maintains a safe environment of respect for faculty, staff, students, and members of the community.</li></ul><h2>OTHER DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES</h2><ul><li>Attend all required department meetings and trainings.</li><li>Manages multiple assignments of varying complexity and meets tight timelines with the ability to adapt to changing needs of the College and business partners.</li><li>Ensures College name and image is perceived positively by external as well as internal audience/stakeholders.</li><li>Hours may include working outside of a normal work week schedule as needed to meet program needs and workload demands.</li></ul>
