Perform traffic engineering and project management tasks to deliver a wide variety of transportation planning, transit, traffic engineering, safety, and intelligent transportation systems (ITS) projects for many, diverse clients. Overview:
Kimley-Horn is looking for Engineering graduates to join our Birmingham, Alabama (AL) office in 2026! This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Utilize technical software programs on a regular basis to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for our clients.</li><li>Perform traffic engineering and project management tasks to deliver a wide variety of transportation planning, transit, traffic engineering, safety, and intelligent transportation systems (ITS) projects for many, diverse clients</li><li>As a critical member of the team, you will perform a variety of engineering tasks and will receive both on-the-job and formal training as well as mentorship and exposure to plan production, project financials, and client interactions</li><li>This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of engineers and designers on a variety of projects</li><li>You will flourish on both building meaningful internal and external professional relationships</li><li>You will work closely and collaboratively with other industry leading professionals, various jurisdictions, and contractors</li></ul>

Qualifications:
<ul><li>An ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) by Summer 2026 in one of the following majors:<ul><li>Civil and/or Environmental Engineering</li><li>Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering</li><li>Engineering Technology</li></ul></li></ul>
