Perform Preventative Maintenance and Repairs: Perform manufacturer-specified PM services and safety checks on all transit and service vehicles including completing fluid and filter changes during PM services; inspecting, testing, and repairing cooling system components such as hoses, thermostats, and heater cores; replacing basic gasoline engine components including spark plugs, coil packs, and fuel injectors; diagnosing and replacing hydraulic brake components such as pads, rotors, brake lines, and calipers; and servicing suspension components including shocks and bushings. Mental Demands: Frequently requires time pressures, frequent change of tasks, irregular schedule/overtime, performing multiple tasks simultaneously, working closely with others as part of a team, tedious or exacting work, and noisy/distracting environment.
