Summer Substitute Custodial Pool (INTERNAL ONLY) Fullerton Joint Union High School DistrictSummer Substitute Custodial Pool (INTERNAL ONLY)Fullerton, CAEXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Sweep, mop, scrub, strip, wax and polish linoleum, tile, and other wood floors; clean concrete; Vacuum and shampoo appropriate floor coverings; Clean and dust walls, woodwork, blackboards, furniture, lockers and other equipment; Wash, scrub, and disinfect restrooms and shower rooms; Clean windows, door glass, and drinking fountains; Clear minor problems in water and sewer systems; Empty and clean waste containers; Replace light bulbs; Raise and lower flags; Open and close classrooms and other school facilities for various school functions and services; Move and rearrange chairs, tables, desks and other equipment; Assist in minor repairs and/or replacement to heating, air conditioning, plumbing and electrical systems, such as circuit breakers, electrical wall plates, and other minor corrections; Repair and maintain school facilities involving minor carpentry work; Paint over graffiti; Maintain athletic fields; set up equipment needed for athletic events; Issue, receive, store and account for athletic equipment and uniforms; inspect clothing and equipment for needed repairs; install and repair athletic equipment; Set up equipment for games and/or gym classes; set up and maintain home game communication systems; Maintain pool cleanliness and proper chemical balances as requested; Operate small power and hand tools and small power equipment, such as lawn mowers, small tractors, vacuum cleaners, and other vehicles as required; Assist in repair and/or replacement of sprinkling systems and fixtures, such as sprinkler heads, risers, and minor leaks or breaks in sprinkler lines; Plant and transplant flowers and shrubs; Reseed and fertilize lawns; Weed and rake grounds; trim bushes and tress; dig small ditches; and. ABILITY TO: •Perform a wide variety of minor maintenance repair activities •Operate light hand power equipment •Use cleaning materials and equipment with skill and efficiency •Use tools and equipment in grounds keeping work •Learn scheduling procedures •Follow verbal and written instructions •Lift 35 pounds •Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others •Ability to speak and understand English All application profiles must be fully completed with all required documents scanned and attached.
