Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period. This position will start on June 7, 2026, and end on June 21, 2026.Responsibilities<ul><li>Works with Youth programs offered by Continuing & Professional Education</li><li>Supports instructor by participating in programming and providing camp assistance</li><li>Supervises 20-30 participants at all times to ensure their health, safety, and well-being</li><li>Documents and reports any issues/concerns to the instructor</li><li>Follows program schedule as outlined</li><li>Accompanies participants during all activities</li><li>Maintains emergency contact information of participants</li><li>Assists with camp check-in, and check out, breakdown and follows all campus policies and procedures</li><li>Requires weekend, evening and overnight work hours</li></ul>Shift Specifics<ul><li>Up to 34 hours per week</li><li>Flexible with schedule of availability</li><li>Shifts available Sunday - Friday:</li><li>1st shift: 7:30 AM - 1:30 PM</li><li>2nd shift: 1:30 PM - 7:30 PM</li><li>3rd shift: 7:30 PM - 1:30 AM</li><li>4th shift: 1:30 AM - 7:30 AM</li></ul>Required QualificationsEducational Requirements<ul><li>Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University.</li></ul>Preferred QualificationsPreferred Experience<ul><li>Previous experience with Camps and interacting with children, preferably bilingual.
