Experience working with preschool-aged children in a recreational, educational, or childcare setting Ability to lead group activities in a fun, safe, and structured manner Enthusiasm for physical activity, sports, and early childhood development Background in physical education, recreation, early childhood education, or a related field Experience teaching sports or movement-based classes to young children Experience working with elementary-aged children Familiarity with play-based and child-centered instructional approaches. Plan and lead developmentally appropriate pre-sports activities for preschool-aged children Teach basic motor skills, coordination, balance, and teamwork using age-appropriate games Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment Manage small groups of young children with clear structure and encouragement Prepare equipment and assist with setup and cleanup before and after classes Communicate professionally with ARC staff and site supervisors Follow ARC and Seattle Parks and Recreation policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
