Skills/Abilities Required:Strong Harvest floor knife skillsStrong understanding of Harvest OperationsStrong verbal and written communications skills and able to effectively communicate with Supervisors from multiple harvest departments (Q/A, Production, Safety) as well as in-plant USDA personnelBilingual (English/Spanish)Strong attention to detailDemonstrate effective leadership skillsAbility to establish and maintain working relationships and work collaborativelyProblem solving abilitiesMust be able to work in hot temperatures and extended hours (including some weekends)Must be physically able to move around the harvest floor, maneuvering on and around uneven and slippery surfaces and tight spaces. Experience Required:Thorough knowledge of SSOP, GMP, SAFE, Animal Handling and HACCP programsBasic understanding of Food Safety, Food Microbiology, Plant Sanitation, Process Control, and Quality Assurance.
